Natural skincare ingredients of the Naturally Good range have great benefits to the skin
All of the natural origin ingredients used in our skin care products have been carefully selected for their beneficial properties. Here are a few natural skincare ingredients you can expect to find in our Naturally Good range:
Organic Chamomile: Organic Chamomile is found in our Naturally Good Day Cream for Sensitive Skin owing to it's soothing, anti-inflammatory properties. As a natural skincare ingredient, Organic Chamomile provides the following benefits: reduces signs of ageing, anti-inflammation, deeply moisturising and has minor healing properties. It’s gentle for sensitive skin, tackles the first signs of ageing and promotes glowing skin.
Organic Argan Oil: Organic Argan Oil is a nurturing ingredient in our natural skin care products. It is a rich source of: vitamin E, phenols, carotenes and fatty acids - all of which provide a benefit for our skin. The benefits of Organic Argan Oil for our skin include: increased skin elasticity, moisturising, boosts skin regeneration, controls oily skin, reduces breakouts and prevents wrinkles. Owing to its regenerating properties, Organic Argan Oil is found in our Naturally Good Regenerating Night Cream. It helps to deeply hydrate dry skin, improves skin elasticity and regulates sebum production.
Organic Aloe Vera: Organic Aloe Vera has been used for natural skincare for thousands of years. It is particularly fantastic at soothing skin as well as providing moisture, fighting bacteria and slowing signs of ageing. Organic Aloe Vera can be found in our Naturally Good Radiance Day Cream for the refreshing and moisturising feeling it provides. It’s rich in vitamins and antioxidants, well known for its cooling properties to relieve sunburn, deeply moisturise the skin and prevent the first signs of ageing.
Organic Green Tea: Organic Green Tea is a superstar natural skincare ingredient due to it's naturally powerful antioxidant properties. Natural skin care products that contain Organic Green Tea benefit skin by: minimising acne, brightening skin, reducing irritation and redness, fighting premature ageing and supporting skin regeneration and repair. Organic Green Tea is found in both of our Naturally Good Cleansers. It’s a powerful antioxidant with anti-inflammatory powers that helps to treat acne, reduce redness and irritation and brighten up the skin.
Why are people switching to more natural skin care products?
Everyone has their own reasons for the choices they make. Some people may decide to change to more natural skin care products for ethical reasons, others want to avoid harsh chemicals, whereas some believe purely in the power of mother nature. Whatever the reasoning, and whatever your skin needs, we have something for you to help accentuate your radiance and look after your skin.
Natural Moisturising Face Creams
Face creams and moisturisers are one of the skin care products that we use everyday. Not only do they keep your skin feeling soft and smooth, but they also hydrate and add moisture back into the skin that might have been lost throughout the day. You should be moisturising your face twice a day to ensure the moisture content of your skin remains consistent throughout the day. Just as we are cautious about what we put inside our bodies, we should also be cautious about what we are using on our face everyday, which is why you should consider using natural face creams.
Here at NIVEA, our Naturally Good Range contains two amazing moisturising day creams, the Naturally Good Radiance Day Cream and the Naturally Good Sensitive Day Cream, one to suit any skin type and to help you along your journey to switching to more natural skin care products.
Are natural skin care products better than non-natural skin care products?
When it comes to determining the best skin care products the answer is never cut and dry. Everyone's skin is unique to them and has individual needs. Therefore the natural skin care products best for one person may not be best for someone else.
Natural skin care products tend to be kinder to skin as they do not contain as many harsh chemicals, can be produced naturally, and generally contain more active ingredients. Nonetheless, the answer of whether natural skin care products are better than non-natural remains rooted in your individual skin needs.
Why not experiment with our new range of natural skin care products to see if they work better than what you are used to? We recommend giving any new product that you are trying at least a month to see if it is working with your skin, or less if your skin begins to show signs of irritation.
