As the World’s No.1 Sun Protection Brand*, we’re always looking at how we can further improve our formulas to provide the best products for our consumers.


After listening to customer feedback, we have removed Almond Oil from all NIVEA SUN products. This change was initiated in December 2023, and all newly produced items no longer contain almond oil. These updated products are clearly labeled with a 'New Formula' message on the front and state “Does not contain Almond Oil” on the reverse.


Consumers should be aware that some stock from last season may still be present in stores. Any products containing Almond Oil are clearly labeled with “Contains Organic Almond Oil” or “With Organic Almond Oil” on the back of the bottle.


If in any doubt, our NIVEA SUN Babies & Kids Sensitive Protect range, which has never contained Almond Oil, may be a more suitable alternative. This range is easy to identify as it comes in white bottles.
