NIVEA Cellular Professional Vitamin C Serum

Nice size product which is small enough to fit in your handbag. Application is easy with the pump design and you only need a small amount and therefore the product goes far, lasts a long time and would be worth the purchase price. The scent isn’t overpowering and the serum has a light feel and absorbs into skin quickly, it doesn’t leave behind a sticky residue like other serums. Quickly, your skin appears smoother, plumper and radiant. I’d go as far to say it gives a soft sun kissed healthy glow, which is perfect for winter when we are lacking vitamin C from the sun. Using twice a day fits in nicely with waking up in the morning and just before bed. Overall a nice little find and I will be continuing into the future.

I’ve been using this serum for two weeks. I kept the rest of my skincare simple in order to see how the serum did on its own. I have combination, very sensitive and reactive skin. I get very red particularly around the time of the month which is when this serum did quite well- I didn’t react to this serum like I do with other products- I didn’t feel itchy or come out in hives. The serum is soothing and lightly moisturising but doesn’t live up to its claim of “provides intense moisture”, I would notice if I’d forgotten to put my usual moisturiser on top. As for the other claim, helping with fine lines- I didn’t notice a difference with mine. It did make my skin feel smooth, wasn’t sticky, didn’t break me out and had no detectable fragrance which is great for me as I hate overly fragranced skincare. Overall, it’s a nice serum but if I wanted something with actives that made a visible difference like minimising blemishes or deal with skin texture I would pick something else.

At first this product didn’t seem to do anything but the more I used it the better my skin felt. It soaks in lovely and is non greasy and it smells really nice too.
